How my digital marketing journey : My First Steps
After graduating from ENCG El Jadida in Morocco with a Master’s degree in Marketing and Sales, I thought I understood marketing well. But at the start of my digital marketing journey i quickly realized I didn’t know much about digital marketing. I needed to learn more about areas like SEO, Google Ads, and content marketing. So, I decided to dive deeper.
The Challenge: Limited Knowledge, No Practice
Even after completing courses from HubSpot and Google Skillshop, I still felt like something was missing. The courses were helpful, but without practical experience, I struggled to fully understand the concepts. I needed to apply what I was learning, not just watch videos.
Creating a Roadmap: My Digital Marketing Plan
To organize my digital marketing journey. I realized I needed a clear roadmap to guide me. I found a helpful video that showed a step-by-step plan to learn digital marketing. The video made things clearer and gave me a clear direction on what to learn first, like digital marketing strategy and creating a website. Having a digital marketing strategy and a website will serve as a solid foundation for practicing various techniques, giving me more opportunities to apply and refine my skills in a practical way as I progress.

Adding Practical Experience: The Udemy Course
To practice, I took the course The Complete Digital Marketing Guide – 27 Courses in 1 on Udemy. It covered everything I needed to know, from SEO to email marketing and social media.
By following the roadmap and taking this course, I was able to start applying what I learned to real projects, which helped me understand digital marketing better.
